The Event Horizon is a spacefaring ship that was possessed by an evil entity and the main setting of the titular sci-fi horror film of the same name. It seems to fly under the radar of movie hatred that other, more controversial movies are stuck with.The main thing that this movie does well is borrow from other films that are quite successful at what they do, like Everything else is not for me. There's plenty of creepy moments, but there's also some genuinely scary stuff. Slightly messy perhaps, as I recall the lost material included some relevant character development. If you, for example, watched it at a tender age, youthful eyeballs glued to a big CRT in a darkened room while your parents were out of town, you likely take this fact for granted. Personally, I love it but to each their own.I didn't think it was terrible but it was most definitely terribly disturbing!It's not perfect but it has it's moments i think. We welcome any leads you may have alongside our efforts. The disturbing imagery, while disturbing, does absolutely nothing to amp up the tension or frighten.

And that's the reason why it came out as well because the pressure was, 'Make the film shorter, get on with it.' It’s not great at what it does.It goes without saying that I enjoy horror movies.
And to think it started out as a Hellraiser script.I anyways thought that the hell dimension they went to was actually Hellraisers labyrinth.I can see this. Event Horizon is one of my favorite horror films and a hugely underrated movie. It is a pretty unique beast and blend of scifi and supernatural horror elements. Less so on rewatches as I got older, also on discovering that he is apparently a good gent.

If you're like me it'll come across as a comedy.It's one of my favorites, but to each their own; no movie appeals to everyone. I saw it not too long after it came out and it absolutely did have an effect on me but after it watching so many years later as an adult, I thought it was garbage.More like underrated. It was a critical and box office failure but has garnered a large cult following over the years, thanks in part to its indelibly gruesome imagery.
