With every triumph I cheered and with every heartbreak I cried. This book was no different, I was pulling for Sky and Holder and desperate for them to have their happy ever after. Not because he wants to come up with the perfect answer but because he's analyzing the question from so many different angles and giving it the though it deserves so that when he does answer his response is the absolute perfect thing to say at the exact perfect time. I think that a book with these kinds of themes has to make you feel like you are there living it with the characters. She’s also one of the few authors I find can tackle sensitive subjects with respect whilst maintaining authenticity. Not only did I hate this book (all 70 pages that I managed to read) and all of its horrible stereotypes and cheesy scenes, but I was really troubled by it. Dont be put off by the Mature YA theme, I am in my late 30's and I love this genre. Gut-wrenching, dark, and even occasionally panic-inducing. This felt like someone writing what they had researched about such issues and Sky and Holder began to seem idealised and artificial. i was suprised by how CoHo can write about all these tragic events *Drama queen alert* and how the characters can just let go of their past without needing any professional help and go back to live a normal life, don't get me wrong i love CoHo but reading about high school adventures then Child sexual abuse is just not my cup of tea =)) [He wouldnt kiss her because , he wanted their first kiss to be real and unforgettable. I am not the kind of person, who enjoys all the romances, I usually find them very cheesy/unrealistic. Colleen's writing style and the way she captivates you in to any of her stories is like no other author and if you are stumbling upon this book having never read one of her stories before then I urge you to buy! The story doesn't just suck you in, it transforms you.
