This is my first time into the warhammer universe and I enjoyed the sword and sorcery environment it haves. It helps that he cunning, brave, and fearless to the absolute maximum degree. Rarely does one get to read books that are from a negative character's POV and tell the story of his badness. I'll continue with the series without any delay.I found the atmosphere and pace throughout the first half of the book to be spectacular. As much as I enjoyed the sketching out of Dark Elf society and the fact that the protagonist was an unrepentantly evil bastard, the book reads like a description of someone levelling up a World of Warcraft character.
