In commercial consulting, Davis has advised on capital planning and the macroeconomic outlook for a leading financial institution, developed new labor market indicators for a firm that matches employers and jobseekers, and served as an expert witness and consultant in more than thirty engagements. He is a co-creator of the Economic Policy Uncertainty Indices, and he co-organizes the Asian Monetary Policy Forum, held annually in Singapore.
